Impractical Jokers: The One Time A Writer Took Part In A Prank

l intro 1680200278

To become a writer for “Impractical Jokers,” it probably goes without saying you need a good sense of humor. The writer who appeared onscreen for the toilet gag obviously doesn’t mind being the butt of the joke, and Q was quick to talk about how hilarious he is in real life. The joker went on to say, “He’s a great guy. He’s very funny, and he really went all out. Family man, wife, a bunch of kids. Might even have five kids at this point, I don’t even know. But he’s a good guy, very funny.”

It’s also good to see the guys getting some help pulling off their pranks in the later seasons. James “Murr” Murray and Joe Gatto talked about how they were the ones who had to make all of the props and merchandise in the first season because they didn’t have as big of a budget yet. The fact they now have a props department and a team of writers who are willing to humiliate themselves all for the sake of a bit is a real testament to how funny and beloved the show has become.
