Brazilian singer Anitta certainly played coy when Andy Cohen grilled her about her nearly-naked run-in with Kyle Richards‘ estranged husband Mauricio Umansky in Aspen.
In December 2023, Umansky shared photos from his time hitting the slopes with Anitta and actress Lele Pons. The two ladies designated the Buying Beverly Hills star as their videographer as they stripped down to bath towels in the snow.
When Anitta stopped by the Bravo Clubhouse for Thursday night’s (March 13) episode of Watch What Happens Live, Cohen began their interview by asking how her rendezvous with Umansky came to be.
“I knew this was coming!” Anitta exclaimed. “I realized this was coming five minutes ago. Because if I realized it before, I would’ve called him and said, ‘What do I say?’”
“He’s a great person,” she added. “I love Mauricio.”
Anitta said she met Umansky in Aspen the day before he took videos of her and Pons skiing in their towels. “Lele’s crazy and I just say yes to the craziness,” she said.
According to the Grammy-winning artist, she’s still in touch with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star — who announced his separation from Richards in July 2023.
“We always talk. We became very good friends,” she said.
Cohen then asked, “Very good friends?” to which Anitta awkwardly clarified, “No, we became good friends.”
That’s when the Bravo icon asked what we all really wanted to know: is there “anything romantic” going on between the two of them?
After a suspicious pause, Anitta — with a big smile across her face — answered, “No.”
Umansky’s dating life has been a topic of conversation on the last few episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which were filmed right after he was photographed kissing a mystery woman in a Mykonos airport. While Richards made it clear that they could see other people amid their separation, she admitted in Tuesday night’s (March 11) episode that his moving on likely means their split is “permanent.”
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
