Warning: Ginny & Georgia season 3 spoilers ahead!

The Ginny & Georgia season 3 finale proved that loyalty is everything to the Millers — and soon, there may be a new addition to protect.

Season 3 kicks off with Georgia (Brianne Howey) in a holding cell on charges of murdering Tom (Vincent Legault). The season follows Georgia through her house arrest and trial, which ultimately finds her not guilty after Ginny (Antonia Gentry) manipulated one of the witnesses, a.k.a. her brother Austin (Diesel La Torraca), into lying on the stand.

Ultimately, there’s never peace for Ginny and Georgia, because season 3 ends on a cliffhanger: Georgia is pregnant.

“I want people to finish the season and stand up as if they just got off a ride,” series creator Sarah Lampert told Today. “I want them to sound like lunatics trying to explain what just happened.”

Here’s everything to know about the ending of Ginny & Georgia season 3, including the shocking final revelation.

The season finale picks up on the courtroom moments after Austin said he saw his father Gil (Aaron Ashmore) murder Tom.

Even Georgia looks shocked, but Ginny doesn’t. Viewers then see a flashback to Ginny coaxing Austin into laying the blame for Tom’s death on Gil.

Tom’s wife Cynthia takes the stand next. At first, Cynthia denies seeing Gil in her family’s home the night of the murder, but another flashback shows Ginny blackmailing her. Back in the courtroom, Ginny nods at Cynthia to remind her of this deal, and Cynthia ultimately suggests that Gil could have been present during that fateful night.

Georgia’s fate is decided early on in the finale: The jury declares her not guilty. The rest of the episode follows the immediate aftermath of Georgia’s freedom.

At home, Georgia finally picks up her phone after weeks of ignoring calls from her incarcerated father. He tells her to be careful — if he can find her, anyone can. The episode closes with Georgia’s father’s prediction coming true — her mother and stepfather have found her, as viewers see when they drive past her house in a truck.

Inside, Ginny is in the kitchen reading a book. Georgia walks in and starts drinking milk from the container, when Ginny remembers what Georgia had previously told her — Georgia drinks milk when she’s pregnant.

The finale ends with Georgia drinking milk from the container, prompting Ginny to realize that her mom might be pregnant.

Lampert later confirmed to Netflix’s Tudum that Georgia is, in fact, pregnant. But the real question is: Who’s the father, Paul or Joe (Raymond Ablack)?

“Perhaps someone new is about to be a dad,” Howey teased to Tudum.

After Georgia goes free, Wellsbury sides with her, and Paul’s decision to divorce Georgia backfires on him. When he learns the town voted to recall him as mayor, he fires his advisor Nick (Dan Beirne), who had adamantly wanted Paul to divorce Georgia.

After admitting all of her secrets to Joe, the two kiss, but Georgia pulls back. She knows she needs to be single — she promised as much to Ginny.

Georgia then goes to Paul’s office to give him his rings back. Paul angrily informs Georgia she destroyed his career.

Georgia and Paul appear to be done for good, but the pregnancy cliffhanger could imply otherwise.

After the trial ends, Ginny and Austin return to their mom’s house. It’s clear that Ginny is becoming more like her mom each day, and much of the finale finds Ginny grappling with the idea of being trapped in a trauma-bonding cycle.

During the episode, Ginny tells her ex-boyfriend Marcus (Felix Mallard) that she’s going to spend the summer in South Korea with her dad, but hasn’t told Georgia yet. Ginny is reading a book on South Korea when she realizes that her mom is pregnant.

After Ginny returns home, the first person she sees is Marcus. He denies the fact that he has a drinking problem and reveals that he’s still in love with Ginny.

By the end of the finale, Marcus gets so drunk at the basement party that his sister Max (Sara Waisglass) drags his home. When his parents confront him, Max admits that he hates himself.

Marcus and Max’s mother Ellen (Jennifer Robertson) gives in to the idea of rehab. As she’s driving him there, Marcus reads the love poem Ginny wrote with him.

Ginny and Marcus’ relationship status remains unclear — but the season has left them closer than ever.

Ginny & Georgia will return for a fourth season. The Netflix series was renewed for both seasons 3 and 4 back in May 2023.

A release date has not been announced, but the season 4 writers’ room went back to work in February 2025.

Lampert told Tudum that the theme for season 4 will be “Cycles and Origins.”

“[Lampert] has some incredible things planned, and I can’t wait to see more about the circumstances that shaped Georgia,” Howey told the outlet.
