What June’s Strawberry Full Moon Means for Your Zodiac Sign

This month’s full moon is sure to be sweet!

Nicknamed the Strawberry Moon, the full moon rises on June 11 at 12:43 AM PT. However, we’ll be able to see it reaching fullness as early as June 8 and it will linger until nearly June 15.

June’s full moon will be in the zodiac sign of Sagittarius (20 degrees), meaning this lunar cycle will affect areas this Fire sign dominates, including communications and “personal and professional connections throughout the world,” celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas tells PEOPLE exclusively.

“Sagittarius is a zodiac sign that encourages us to learn more about the world and expand our perspective of life, often through travel, academics or spirituality,” he points out. “We are encouraged to pursue adventure, charge into the unknown, and learn about how we relate to others and philosophize our place in the cosmos.”

While last month’s full moon in Scorpio was “pure chaos,” Thomas notes that this one will be “rather joyous” in comparison thanks to the moon’s trine with Mars.

“This angle of supreme harmony brings passion, sex appeal, courage and excitement to our lives,” he says about the transit. “We will be eager to charge after our desires and connect vibrantly in our relationships.”

He also notes that the full moon is opposite Jupiter, the planet of expansion, “which will fill us with buoyant, optimistic and charming energy.” He adds that “lucky breakthroughs may manifest if we are to roll the dice. However, he warns not to go “too big” or we may feel we’ve gone beyond our means.

Lastly, he points out that while Jupiter is happily aligned with Mercury, “bringing luck around communications, ideas, and travel,” as well as with Mars, “igniting our zest for life,” the planet is directly square to both Saturn and Neptune.

“This foretells that in order to manifest the life we desire, we need to pivot our plans and understand that it is more useful to be practical, grounded and realistic about our personal and professional progress otherwise we will very likely end up depleting our resources and living in a world of illusion and delusion,” he says of the square. “Practice moderation and build from a steady foundation and you could harness this cosmic flow in magnificent ways.”

Aries (March 20-April 19)

“You may feel invigorated to switch up your routine and move in new directions,” Thomas says, including “a long-distance traveling journey or international business or relations.”

If involved in media, Thomas also points out that you may “see opportunities to grow.” Meanwhile, if you’re actively engaged in academics or wish to expand your education, “a milestone moment or decision could be at hand.”

Taurus (April 19-May 20)

It’s time to assess your relationships, Taurus.

Seeing where you stand, as well as how you are sharing with one another, could be key during this time, according to Thomas. “If you’ve been feeling unfulfilled, you could speak up or instead decide to part ways,” he says.

He also points out that this lunation could affect your financial matters, “bringing a shift or the arrival of a bonus, venture capital, new credit line, inheritance or settlement.” He adds that “assets and investments are favored” during this time.

Gemini (May 20-June 20)

Prepare for some truth bombs, Gemini!

Thomas warns that “relationship growth — or drama — is around the corner” for your zodiac sign. “You are at a time where you will be facing the truth in a significant partnership,” he adds.

While it could bring some couples closer, such as conversations around “moving in, making promises, getting engaged or even being wed,” others who aren’t in alignment could decide to part ways.

Cancer (June 20-July 22)

This season is all about productivity, Cancer.

Thomas points out that this Water sign may find that they’re busier than ever, juggling many responsibilities at work and home. “You may be taking on more for your job or even leaving one job to start another,” he says.

He also notes that “your physical health will also be at the top of your mind, so you’ll have a chance to see a specialist, work on your fitness or even change your diet.”

Leo (July 22-Aug. 22)

It’s time to live in the moment, Leo.

You’re all about laughing and loving, meaning that romance, dating and courtship could be particularly enjoyable now, Thomas says.

“If ready to meet someone new, download an app, mingle amongst friends or ask someone out near this time,” he adds. “If committed, use this energy to reignite your spark.”

He also advises you to tap into your creativity during this time, including using your talents, getting inspired, or showcasing your work.

Virgo (Aug. 22-Sept. 22)

Security is top of mind for Virgo signs.

“You may be quite reflective on your past, your heritage and your traditions now,” Thomas says. He also notes that “an important shift around your domestic life, home or family may also pop up, such as a desire to move, renovate or redecorate.”

Libra (Sept. 22-Oct. 22)

Libra, you’re living life in the fast lane.

During this time, Thomas says you may feel “especially curious, social and eager to step out of your comfort zone,” especially as it pertains to “intellectual pursuits.”

“A significant contract could also manifest as if out of thin air!” he says. Additionally, you could be finding yourself stepping out of town to travel, whether that be visiting family or siblings.

Scorpio (Oct. 22-Nov. 21)

Money on the mind, Scorpio?

“Finances will be coming and going near this time,” Thomas says, noting that “money will be a major factor on your mind as you plan out things now and in the months ahead.”

While some may see a raise or new job offer present itself, others may “leave one job or income stream to pursue a new one.” However, Thomas warns you to be aware of your bank account when spending money on important possessions.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22–Dec. 21)

All eyes are on you, Sagittarius.

“An important personal or professional goal that you’ve been building toward for six months or longer could now be at your fingertips,” Thomas says. “You will be especially fired up, so make sure that you assert yourself and your dominance so everyone knows what you desire and how you’d like to proceed.”

Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19)

Take a step back, Capricorn.

This time will have you reflecting on your life and plans for the future. “You may feel a desire to rest, recharge and recuperate,” he says, adding that “pushing too hard against the grain now would only burn you out more.”

Others may be “feeling a bit haunted by baggage, dreams, trauma or the past, so working with a therapist or engaging with spirituality could help you ultimately find closure and peace.”

Aquarius (Jan. 19-Feb. 18)

Thomas notes that “this is an excellent period to join groups and communities, volunteer or become actively engaged with a cause that you believe in.”

However, he notes that there’s plenty of fun on the menu, too! “You may attend events, expand your network, or even find success in online dating if you are single and looking,” he says. “Ask for favors from people that you know — they may now be granted.”

Pisces (Feb. 18-March 20)

It’s a season of personal growth, Pisces.

Thomas says “you may receive praise, success, or recognition for work that you’ve been building toward for six months or longer.” This could come in the form of a “new job offer, promotion or award may now fill you with pride.”

That being said, if you aren’t in the right job or industry, “you may quickly realize it and need to pivot in a new direction.”
