A wedding officiant froze in shock when he realized he forgot to do one very important thing.

Clips from Hannah and James Behncke’s April 14 wedding ceremony at Venue at the Grove in Phoenix have more than 100,000 views on TikTok because the officiant left out one crucial part — the ring exchange.

“The officiant’s reaction was priceless! There was definitely some horror on his face,” the couple’s wedding videographer, Emily Adkins, tells PEOPLE.

While the owner of Emily Faye Films didn’t catch the officiant’s name, she did capture him gasping in surprise with his hand over his mouth while saying, “Oh, my God,” once he realized his mistake. At that point, the bride and groom had already said “I do,” and shared a dip kiss at the end of the aisle.

“Every ceremony is so different — the order and inclusion of vows, readings, ring exchange, etc. I don’t think anybody realized they didn’t exchange rings until the couple was walking down the aisle,” Adkins says. “Hannah and James had a romantic dip and kiss on their walk out and I think that is when guests started to try and get their attention that the rings were forgotten.”

One of the couple’s approximately 40 guests quickly informed them and the officiant of the accidental error. Luckily, Hannah and James weren’t upset, and simply turned around and “danced their way back” to exchange rings.

“They had such a good attitude about it!” Adkins says.

In the end, it ended up being no big deal.

“After filming weddings for over six years I’ve seen so many things go wrong during ceremonies that it really wasn’t a big deal,” Adkins explains. “The ring exchange was on its own page of the officiant’s notes, and he mentioned he must have just skipped over the page entirely.”

After the wedding attendees got over their initial shock, they matched Hannah and James’ energy and began “cheering and hollering for the couple as they made their way back up the aisle,” which made their second walk even more special.

“Hannah and James appeared to enjoy the extra moment by dancing their way all the way back,” Adkins says. “It is moments like these, the unplanned and unexpected, that I really love on wedding days, so I was thinking that this will be one of those memories that the couple will look back on fondly with some laughs.”

TikTok users also enjoyed the unexpected ceremony re-do.

“It’s like getting married twice!! 🤗Now both of you know that you really do 🥹♥️,” one person commented, with another writing, “All I see is two great chances for more pics of the kiss and walking down the aisle.”
