Riley Keough on Stevie Nicks’ Pitch for ‘Daisy Jones & the Six’ Season 2 (Exclusive)

Riley Keough thinks Stevie Nicks is hitting all the right notes when it comes to her pitch for more Daisy Jones & the Six.

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at a “Through Her Lens” conversation event at 2025 Tribeca Festival on June 6, Keough gave Nicks’ idea of what a potential second season of the series might look like her official seal of approval.

“I think that anything Stevie Nicks comes up with is a great idea, and she’s wonderful. I love her so much,” Keough, 36, said.

“She’s the sweetest. She’s amazing,” she added of the Fleetwood Mac singer.

Last October, Nicks shared her thoughts with Rolling Stone on where Daisy Jones & the Six — the Prime Video musical drama, which is based on Taylor Jenkins Reid‘s novel of the same name and inspired by Fleetwood Mac and their Rumours album — could go if the show ever came back for another season.

“I wish that it could go into what if … had Billy come back after Billy’s wife died and knocked on her door, and they decided to make that last record that I always hoped that Lindsey [Buckingham] and I would make,” Nicks said, referring to Keough’s titular character and Sam Claflin‘s Billy.

Daisy Jones & the Six ended with the death of Billy’s wife Camila (Camila Morrone). Before she died, Camila encouraged Daisy and Billy to reconnect with each other.

Nicks, who admitted she initially “didn’t even want to see” the show because she thought she “was going to hate it so much,” told the magazine seeing Daisy and Billy reunite to “make that last record” like Camila wanted “would make a fantastic second season.”

At the time, Nicks said she had pitched the idea for season 2 to Keough and executive producer Reese Witherspoon, both of whom she said “loved” it.

Daisy Jones & the Six also starred Suki Waterhouse, Will Harrison, Josh Whitehouse, Sebastian Chacon as the other members of the band. The show aired throughout March 2023 and garnered three Emmy nominations and three Golden Globe nominations, among other accolades.

Keough took part in the conversation event alongside her production partner, writer and director Gina Gammell, to discuss their new limited documentary series, In Process, which explores female creativity and is inspired by Through Her Lens: The Tribeca and Chanel’s Women’s Filmmaker Program.

The program aims to provide mentorship, artistic development and funding to emerging U.S.-based self-identifying women and non-binary writers and directors.

Keough, the granddaughter of Elvis Presley, is a multi-hyphenate in her own right, having directed, written and produced projects in addition to her work as an actress. She and Gammell won the Caméra d’Or at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival for their film War Pony.
