‘Weird Al’ Yankovic Celebrates Daughter Nina’s Graduation with Rare Recent Photo

“Weird Al” Yankovic‘s daughter is all grown up!

On Sunday, June 8, the parody musician, 65, went on Instagram to announce that his daughter, Nina, whom he shares with his wife Suzanne Yankovic, has graduated from college.

“My daughter Nina graduated from college today. Sorry, this is the most recent picture I could find of her,” Yankovic wrote next to a photo of him and the 22-year-old.

In the photo, flags from the college graduate’s alma mater could be seen surrounding her and her father as they smiled from ear to ear.

Yankovic wore a blue button-down shirt with a gray hat. Nina could be seen wearing her academic regalia with a white dress, accompanied by silver necklaces and statement earrings. She also carried a flower bouquet and her diploma..

In the comment section, Nina received praise from some of her dad’s celebrity friends, including Ayo Edebiri, who wrote, “Congrats, Nina!! 🫶🏾🦅❤️.” Seth Green commented, “Yeessss @ninayankovic you did it🔥🔥🔥🔥.”

In September 2021, Yankovic proudly announced on Instagram that he had just dropped Nina off at college for her freshman year, with a sweet throwback photo.

In November 2022, Yankovic said while on Bill Maher‘s Club Random podcast that Nina was “majoring in English and environmental science and art.”

“So she’ll save the world somehow, I’m sure,” he added at the time.

Yankovic gave another update on his daughter when he shared a TikTok video hilariously helping her record her college radio show last October.

In May, Yankovic appeared on NPR’s Wild Card with Rachel Martin podcast, where he discussed what it is like watching his daughter grow up.

“My wife and I talk about this all the time,” Yankovic said, sharing, “We always used to say, it would be great if we had a Nina at every age living in our house, just 1 through 22. 22 Ninas.”
