To be more specific, the talk show host wore a $85,000 necklace strung with pear and marquise-cut diamonds cemented with a giant pink morganite stone, in addition to a pair of $32,000 drop earrings comprised of round and marquise gemstones.
It was Hudson’s rings however that stole the show, with the star wearing three diamond-adorned bands valuing at a whopping $160,000 — and that includes the $115,000 eternity ring sitting pretty on her finger.
If you thought the price tag was jaw-dropping, the carat count was just as impressive. Per Jared Atelier, the Dreamgirls star and her stylist Maeve Reilly opted to outfit her in a cool 46 carats.

Hudson let all her bling do the talking by selecting a black Gaurav Gupta gown, which featured structured shoulders and an sexy thigh slit. A glossy nude lip added just a touch more shine.
For her performance later in the night, during which she honored Ultimate Icon Award recipient Jamie Foxx, she slipped into a velvet tuxedo minidress. (Foxx was one of four Ultimate Icon Award winners along with Mariah Carey, Kirk Franklin and Snoop Dogg.) The EGOT winner also went for full wattage glam with a voluminous ponytail and an eye makeup look topped with bold lashes.
Hudson’s song “A God (There Is)” is nominated for the Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award. Alongside her to celebrate the night was her son David Daniel Otunga Jr., who wore an all-black look like his mom.
