Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola Celebrates Baby Shower with ‘Jersey Shore’ Cast

Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola is celebrating her baby shower alongside her Jersey Shore family.

The reality TV star, who is currently pregnant and expecting her first baby with fiancé Justin May, celebrated her baby shower over the weekend and posed for a sweet photo with several of her castmates.

In the snap, Giancola can be seen wearing an off-the-shoulder white dress with blue flowers, standing next to Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Deena Nicole Cortese and Angelina Pivarnick. “What a beautiful shower for a beautiful mawma @sammisweetheart 💙👶🏽,” Polizzi wrote in the caption of her post on Instagram.

Other photos shared by Giancola showed different stations around the event, including a “Craving station,” which had sweet treats and a floral photo wall. The mom-to-be also posed alongside her fiancé as they took a minute to celebrate becoming parents. “Mom & Dad 💙🩵🥹,” Giancola wrote in her Instagram caption.

In May, Giancola and her fiancé revealed that they are expecting a boy, sharing the news with PEOPLE exclusively. Giancola found out the exciting news on the Seaside Boardwalk along with the rest of her Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast.

“It’s just so iconic because me and my roommates, we’ve basically grew up here in Seaside and also me and Justin met here in Seaside,” Giancola, who found out the sex of her baby after cannons shot up blue powder into the air, told PEOPLE. “It’s just very sentimental, meaningful all around.”

Giancola said that although they “had a feeling” it might be a boy, she and her fiancé are just happy to be pregnant.

“I think we were just happy to have a healthy baby,” she said. “We didn’t care about gender at all, but we kind of had a feeling what it was.”

In February, Giancola shared that she is pregnant and expecting her first baby. The couple shared the happy news via a joint Instagram post on Feb. 23, with Giancola writing, “We’ve been keeping a little secret… ✨Baby May Due August 2025✨🤰🏻.”

She then reflected on the couple’s journey to this moment.

“After struggling through years of infertility, this is the absolute greatest blessing we could ever possibly ask for!” she said. “We are so thrilled to finally be able to share the news of our little miracle with you all! Our hearts have never been so full of love, we can’t wait to meet you baby! 🫶🏼🥹💕.”

The reality star’s happy news came just months after she opened up about the “devastating” miscarriage she experienced before she and May got engaged on March 16, 2024.
