Dakota Johnson rocked a very sheer dress on her way to Late Night with Seth Meyers after her breakup with Chris Martin.
Johnson, 35, stepped out in New York City in a see-through dress as she made her way from The Greenwich Hotel to NBC Studios at Rockefeller Plaza, where she’ll promote her upcoming movie Materialists on Meyers’ show.
The long-sleeved, mid-length dress didn’t leave much unseen. The Fifty Shades of Grey actress wore a bodysuit underneath the transparent dress, with a surplice neckline and pleated hem.
Johnson accessorized the look with matching black pointed-toe pumps and black cat-framed sunglasses. She carried a chocolate brown leather bag while opting for minimal jewelry and a pair of gold hoop earrings.

Johnson appears to be moving on from the Coldplay frontman, 48, after she was spotted without her engagement ring on the streets of Manhattan on Monday, June 2.
Despite the breakup, Johnson appeared to be all smiles while leaving her hotel.

Her sheer ensemble isn’t the first one she’s been photographed in this week. Johnson’s stylist Kate Young, who is also the stylist for Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore and other stars, posted a photo of her client to Instagram wearing a sheer black bodysuit by Commando on May 30.
Young added a pop of color and texture with a Khaite’s suede Saraphina Jacket, oval gold-framed glasses by Gucci and a pair of Khaite‘s Colt Wedge shoes.
Multiple sources told PEOPLE on Wednesday, June 4, that Johnson and Martin had broken up, ending their nearly eight-year on-and-off relationship.

“It feels final this time,” one source said of the split. (Reps for the stars did not respond to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.)
Johnson and Martin started their romance in 2017 after Martin’s official divorce from former wife Gwyneth Paltrow in 2015.
A source told PEOPLE in March 2024 that he and Johnson had gotten “engaged years ago,” but noted that they were in “no rush to get married.”
The “Yellow” singer and Fifty Shades of Grey actress remained mostly private throughout their relationship, but later that March, Johnson opened up about Martin during a conversation with Bustle when asked how it felt to watch him on stage.
“I love watching him. I could watch him every day,” she said. “I don’t know how to explain it. I feel like, I don’t know … I’m watching my most favorite being do his most favorite thing.”
The pair were last photographed together on May 16 in Malibu, Calif. Before that, in January, they held hands in India, where Martin was touring with his band.
Materialists opens on June 13.
